IntHealthcert is working on developing strategies to protect consumers of Global Healthcare Facilities against malpractice and adverse events. Some of the unique legal issues which exist in Global Healthcare are risk management, International hospital liabilities, International advocacy, facility ownership, intellectual property, and ethical issues.   Ethical issues may involve that of the doctor-patient relationship or that of new technologies such as organ transplant and stem cell research.   New risk management groups exist in Global Healthcare which involve non-healthcare professionals such as Global Healthcare facilitators, health travel agents, and medical air transporters. Additional legal issues may involve the use of alternative medicine and telemedicine.
